| A swagger stick 26" long with brightly colored bead decoration all over in a swirling pattern reaching from top to bottom. The meshed bead work fits tightly over the stick's surface, which might be wood. Slightly bulbous at the top, more pointed at the bottom. Swagger sticks were ordinarily associated with uniformed military officers or officials and one of the original purposes of the swagger stick was to help keep the officers from putting their hands in their pockets. This does not appear to be very old, so we doubt it pre dates 1950. RL* | ||
