| A light colored solid butternut or maple cased clock by John Osgood. Although Osgood was born in Andover, Massachusetts (1770), in 1793 he settled in Haverhill, NH making clocks there as early as 1793, although this example may date to about 1800. He had a long career extending into the 1840s. It is believed that his son, John, Jr, took over the business at some point. 8" in height. The three brass finials are proper replacements and the crest has been restored.
