A hand painted ostrich egg, about 6" in height and empty. This was hand painted probably during the Victorian era, with budding orchids. Since this is hollowed out, there is a small hole at one end, about 1/4" round.
An amusing folk art sign warning "LOOK-OUT-BELOW" for the "KING BIRD" with a nice central carved bird looking more like a Phoenix bird than any WA HOO bird we know of. Looks about 1925-1950, 18" X 36".
A round centerpiece bowl, about 17 1/2" in diameter and 4 1/2" high. The interior bears two stampings, one appears to be a two headed Prussian bird. The interior is nicely polished, the exterior left with patination.
