A Chippendale walnut chest of drawers of Southern interest. The chest, with two drawers over three graduated drawers, has white pine as the secondary wood suggesting a possible origin of Virginia. The back slight (about 1") overhang. the strongly styled ogee feet, and fluted quarter columns all add to the value of this late 18th century antique. Replaced brasses and pads added to the feet.
