A ladies pendant watch in a gold filled hunting case, 38mm in diameter. The watch comes with a fitted presentation box and was made about 1894. The watch is not running, although a visual examination shows the escapement and parts all seem intact. Since the hands are a little rusty and the rust does not seem to have gone further than the dial,it may only need a cleaning and oiling to run.
A Swiss made Châtelaine-like Victorian crystal ball watch. "Ball" watches are so called because they have the shape of a ball, from two polished magnifying "crystals" showing both the time, or dial, on one side and the operating watch works on the other. In addition is an entertaining "Lion" whose pin whose chin suspends the watch by the chain. Comes in an old fitted leather bound box which is not the original. The watch is 41mm in diameter.RL*
An Edwardian or Art Deco men's dress watch in a 14K case #366,742. The Waltham watch is 19 jewels and is the Riverside "A" model, one of this American watch company's higher grades. Dates to the first half of the 20th century. Gold toned dial with black enamel Arabic numerals, a seconds bit and Breguet style hands. The plain case is engraved with the monogram initials: "H. G. An early 19th century pair cased men's pocket watch whose fusee movement is signed "M I Tobias & Co., 22070" and "Liverpool" The watch is within a double,or "pair" case complete with dust cover and even an original watch papers, one a hand sewn silk. Marked on the inside case:"18" and "T B & Co" with a serial number matching the movement, the outer case without any markings. A large late 19th century Swiss made pocket watch that may have been used as a desk watch. Having a white porcelain dial with a seconds bit and a nickel plated case, the watch is about 3" in diameter. There is a jeweled movement with an anchor escapement. RL*
