A rare and unusual treacle glazed bull of a larger size: 14" high and 16" long. This is believed to be Wieldon, ca 1815. A bold, memorable image. Early 19th century.

Bargeware, or "Measonware" features folksy applied birds, fruits and flowers in polychrome ceramic medallions, and this one includes a special presentation emblem: "WITH LOVE TO MOTHER."
