A lidded wine cooler on stand. The lead lined box-like cooler opens upward to display bottles of stored wine within a metal lined cooler. This has finely inlaid, original square tapered legs and brass bale handles on the side. Late George III, probably about 1800. Measures 27 1/2" X 16" X16".

A solid rosewood carved end table, 32" in height and 22" across. The legs are carved with ball and claw feet and they support a pierced and carved skirt around the top. The top is also carved with a reddish marble set within.

A DeSevres larger (10 1/2") fat-man-and-his-snuff jug with an especially fanciful glaze decoration featuring a sponge decorated base, blues, iron oxides, yellows, browns and greens. Impressed marked with a "J" and a blue "H" glaze mark. We think this is French, 19th century.

A pair of glass parade canes each decorated with swirled colors and about 38" long. Parade canes were used for ceremonial purposes in the mid 19th century as well as decoration and memorabilia.They were hand made and many originated in New Jersey in the mid 1800s.Priced for the pair but make an offer on a single cane if you like.

An important late Chippendale tall case clock by the well-listed maker Griffith Owen. Owen's career as a clockmaker spanned at least 24 years, between 1790- 1814; but this example, signed as made in "Montgomery County", a county within the Philadelphia area, was no doubt made early in his career before he moved his location into Philadelphia at #70 Mulberry St in Philadelphia. A folk art like painted box, 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" X 6", with a hinged lid opening upward. The middle 1800s decoration is in very good original condition, with the original interior lining and the back covered with paper.
